American Business Women's Association

Lori is the current President: The Verdugo Glen chapter is a local league of the American Business Women’s Association (ABWA) and was chartered on June 27, 1963 in Glendale, California. For 50 years, we continue to be a significant part of the San Fernando and San Gabriel Valley communities.  The ABWA is a prestigious, national organization established for working women and women business owners.  It is a community where women can be part of a national organization with a local connection, come together to gain career development and pursue business opportunities while being influenced and mentored by like-minded women who really care.

Glendale One Toastmasters

Lori is a member of Glendale One Toastmasters which is the 8th club chartered in the world and was created in 1933.  She has been a member since 1993.  She has her ATM-Silver.  Toastmasters International is a world leader in communication and leadership development. Our membership is 292,000 strong. These members improve their speaking and leadership skills by attending one of the 14,350 clubs in 122 countries that make up our global network of meeting locations.

California Dialysis Council

Lori Serves on the Board of California Dialysis Council (CDC) is a statewide organization that continues to address legislative and clinical initiatives that represent the needs of the renal community. CDC at the forefront in addressing nephrology concerns that affect not only California, but the renal community at large.  The CDC is a nonprofit organization which strives to enhance networking, education, and communication within the membership, and to be a resource and clearinghouse of information.

Kidney Care Partners

Lori is a Board Member of Kidney Care Partners (KCP).  KCP was founded in May of 2003, as a coalition of patient advocates, dialysis professionals, care providers and manufacturers dedicated to working together to improve quality of care for individuals with Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD). Their goal is to involve patient advocates, care professionals, providers and manufacturers to improve patient quality of care.
